Girl Style

Bpfabi I'm in the midst of my Sandy Acres Sound Lab fund drive.  Please look HERE for instructions on how to donate via Paypal to keep my internet radio show going strong -- all proceeds go to East Village Radio.

AND IF YOU DONATE $35 OR MORE, I'LL MAIL YOU A WONDERFUL MIXED CD!!

** Please donate by April 25th **

I love girlie pop more than anyone as tuff as I should.  It's true.  Two questions I ask myself when I listen to a girl pop song for the first time:
1 - Is it like TOTALLY CUTE?
2 - Can I hand clap &/or snap my fingers to it?
Clearly, it takes very little for me.

That said, I'm totally into this song right now:

Linda Scott - I've Told Every Little Star

Did you know that this song was actually a standard written by Oscar Hammerstein II & Jerome Kern for their 1932 production Music In The Air.   It was Linda's biggest hit.  David Lynch used it in Mulholland Drive.  You can find out more about her HERE.

And here's a newer number done in the 60's girl group style that I love as well:

The Bristols - Can't You See That He's Mine

The Bristols feature the delightful Fabienne DelSol (pictured above) on lead vocals.  Her story & style remind me of Ms April March, who I also find charming as all get out.

This is completely unrelated in any way to this post, but AMAZING!
