We All Make the Flowers Grow

A quick stop in...my laptop died & I just got a new one which I love.  Too bad I really wasn't prepared to plunk the money down to get it, but whatever.  It IS so pretty & shiny & new though.

I dunno about you, but I loooved Richard Scarry books when I was little.  Cars &  Trucks & Things that Go was one I read over & over.  The pig family in the VW convertible, the crocodile car , the cowboy dog & the lil goldbug guy all left a pretty deep impression on me.  Also that lil mouse in the right corner... I love all the lil details. 

I also love this Lee Hazlewood cover from the Total Lee Compilation, so I'll throw it in here for you:
