Shake Some Action on New Year's Eve!

Theapt Now many of you are wondering what's going on on New Year's Eve 2007 & of course, I have a suggestion for you:

GO TO FONTANA'S!  I'm DJing in the downstairs bar & spinning all the party jamz*:
hip hop, new wave, indie, alterna-hits, classic soul, old skool, electro & more!

FONTANA'S
105 Eldridge St (bet Grand & Broome)
just South of Delancey
Lower East Side, NYC

Near the J,M,F,V trains!
10 - 4am // 21+

*You WON'T hear any techno or house music -- this I can promise.

Photo_07 Switching gears, I know I've raved about it before, but if you haven't yet, you really have to get yourself the Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulian soundtrack  by Yann Tiersen.  Like the film, it's just so gorgeous & whimsical.

Every time I listen to it, I find another favorite track on it.  Here are two that are just dreamy:  Guilty  &  La Redecouverte

Le sigh.

Oh & heads up -- East Village Radio won't be airing any new shows between now & the first week of January.  Archives of older shows will be aired int he meantime.  I'll be back with a ::fresh!:: new!:: Sandy Acres Sound Lab the first Saturday of January with loads of new stuff. So stay tuned!
