Yes, I am Trying to Break Your Heart
I am still the picture of happiness as I file for unemployment & check out my health insurance options. This has been the best week I've had since college -- only I'm not sure I appreciated the freedom then like I do now.
I'm free!

Here are three songs that I ADORE that bring a tear of happiness to the eye of yours truly:
Ennio Morricone -- Cinema Paradiso
Wow. Is that gorgeous or what? See Ennio Morricone live concert with scenes from the movie! & here's the last scene from Cinema Paradiso! (Le weep)
Erik Satie -- Gymnopedie No. 1
This song makes my heart hurt when I listen to it & that is not an exaggeration.
Yann Tiersen -- La Valse D'Amelie (piano version) This entire soundtrack is a killer -- not a bad track in there...

That Satie piece was ripped off by Janet Jackson in the 2001 hit "Someone to Call My Lover" and I actually love it.
