Yes, I am Trying to Break Your Heart

95091998_97eaa40d46_b I am still the picture of happiness as I file for unemployment & check out my health insurance options.  This has been the best week I've had since college -- only I'm not sure I appreciated the freedom then like I do now.

I'm free!

Have you donated to my internet radio show SANDY ACRES SOUND LAB yet?  Go to PAYPAL & look for this email address to do so: sandyacres@eastvillageradio.com

A donation of $35 or more gets you a mixed CD that I made for you!  It will be amazing -- I promise!

Here are three songs that I ADORE that bring a tear of happiness to the eye of yours truly:

Ennio Morricone -- Cinema Paradiso
Wow.  Is that gorgeous or what?  See Ennio Morricone live concert with scenes from the movie!  & here's  the last scene from Cinema Paradiso!  (Le weep)

Erik Satie -- Gymnopedie No. 1
This song makes my heart hurt when I listen to it & that is not an exaggeration.

Yann Tiersen -- La Valse D'Amelie (piano version)  This entire soundtrack is a killer -- not a bad track in there...

Beautiful cherry blossom photo snagged from Photoblog 2.0.

That Satie piece was ripped off by Janet Jackson in the 2001 hit "Someone to Call My Lover" and I actually love it.
