This post is gonna be just like one of those "Best of..." montages that they show on every TV sitcom... I'm feeling a little lazy tonight.
So you know, I can see how people access my blog & apparently someone is looking for me. Are you looking for me? Well write me an email or something. Don't be creepy about it, k?!
Now, would you believe that this is the track that people search for the most & stumble across my blog? Dominatrix -- The Dominatrix Sleeps Tonight & I cannot blame them because it is GENIUS. So as a gift to you, I'm re-posting it. Knock yourself out, nurds!
Another track the kids are searching for quite a bit is this one: Stars -- Your Ex-Lover is Dead Another excellent track by a wonderful band but I've gotta ask: that song is S-A-D. why you wanna make yourself cry, peanut?
Now, here's a track that I've never posted before that I think you'll love: Apples in Stereo -- Same Old Drag Apples in Stereo play such consistently excellent pop music -- they can do no wrong in my book. Check out their MySpace page & buy some music!

This is so cool -- I'd love to witness it for myself. Any of you computer geniuses out there should do it here in NYC!

They used to play the video for that Dominiatrix song on U68, a NYC UHF music video station that was around in the 80s.

Aww, ma chere, you make me wistful. You see, the first ever bloggy comment I made was in response to your Dominatrix post last year. Sigh...
You are mahvellous dahlink, simply mahvellous!!!

That Apples In Stereo song is currently burning a hole in my headphones...But doesn't the staccato guitar part remind you of Phoenix's "Too Young"? It does me.
I saw Stars at Austin City Limits (very good, and a bit more upbeat than their recordings. They were actually kind of political; they're from Canada, you know...), and I'm looking forward to seeing Apples at SXSW.
