Last night I DJed a beautiful & fun wedding reception at the Brooklyn Ethical Society. The venue was pretty perfect for a winter wedding; the bride & groom are the kind of couple most aspire to be I think. I was very happy to be a part of it.

These guys are from Brooklyn & I love their EP. You can definitely hear the Kings of Convenience in there & I don't mean that as a slight because they do it so well. I can't wait to see them live -- hopefully they'll perform again soon in NYC. Check out the Ivy League's website & buy something!

I remember how much I loooved this album & I still love the Apples in Stereo. Seriously, what's not to love? They're wonderful.
Bell -- Moon River
How sweet is this? Bell's performing at the NEON LIGHTS show at the Delancey on Friday 12/15! I'll be DJing early in a bloody DJ duel with DJ Earfarm between bands from 7 to 9 or so (I think) & then superstar DJ Fluxblog takes over to kick your ass with awesomeness.
